Red Hat Linux Architect

The work:

• Develop and maintain tools for deployment, configuration, and sustainment of Linux-based operating systems (e.g., RHEL & Ubuntu) in a dynamic, highly secure environment
• Support Tier 3+ incident and problem resolution for production customers
• Provide operating system expertise to Product Owners during system hardening, deployment, and sustainment
• Mentor technical staff on advanced topics related to configuration and sustainment of Linux-based operating systems
• Collaborate with operations and security teams to maximize automation of standardized, repeatable processes
• Collaborate with Service Management team to ensure production systems are engineered to cost-effectively meet established SLAs/SLOs
• Collaborate with compliance and security leads to incorporate modern operational practices into the security program to meet the requirements of multiple regulatory/compliance frameworks securely and cost-effectively (e.g., FedRAMP, RMF, DoD Cloud SRG, SOC2)
• Develop initiatives for continual service improvement through relentless automation

Here's What You Need:

• Expert-level proficiency with RHEL installation, configuration and management within a variety of Cloud Service Provider environments
• Experience with Configuration Management Tools; proficiency with Ansible for system configurations and deployments
• Understanding of systems architecture e.g. hardware, storage systems, network components; especially the cloud native equivalents
• Understanding of one or more scripting languages (bash, ksh, python, perl, etc)
• Networking (understand DHCP, DNS, IP, routing, etc)
• Security and Compliance - Understanding of 800-53; understanding of Linux security practices (selinux, fapolicyd, FW configs, etc)
• Experience within highly regulated environments, such as U.S. Government agencies Experience with cyber security concepts and managing the balance between business objectives and security compliance

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Advanced certifications in Red Hat (e.g., RHCSA, RHCSE, RHCA)

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
