BASIC FUNCTION

Position Overview

Our Information Security Analyst will help plan and carry out the organization’s information security strategy. They develop a set of security standards and best practices for the organization and recommend security enhancements to management as needed. Information Security Engineers are also responsible for educating the workforce on information security through training and building awareness. This role will focus primarily on identity and access management related activities including but not limited to: identity lifecycle management, access management, access reviews and certifications, SSO application integrations, and other identity and access management activities.

What you’ll do at Insight

• Contribute to the completion of SOX, SOC, PCI and ISO27001 audits
• Examine, track, analyze and record incidents to ensure protection from any potential leaks of malicious activity
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Acknowledge and handle security threats against applications, databases, and middleware
• Assess and address IAM security risks, threats and vulnerabilities at the intermediate-expert level
• Work effectively within a dynamic and highly operational environment
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
• Drive success in a nationally and internationally recognized operational environment
• Maintain IAM systems to integrated applications and works with departments to ensure timely remediation of issues and requests

What you’ll need to join Insight

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
• 1-3 years’ experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge
• Familiarity or previous experience with various identity and access management products such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint or Saviynt
• Knowledge of security concepts such as role based access controls, least privilege, authentication types, access reviews and certifications
• Understanding of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows, Linux, Unix
• Experience with various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions
• Familiarity of common Internet protocols and applications
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Elevated customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• CompTIA Security+
