Cybersecurity Project Coordinator (Future project)

What success looks like in this role:

Main Responsibilities

  Project Coordination and Management:

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of cybersecurity projects related to SIEM, NDR, VM, and CTI.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet project objectives.

  Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact between cybersecurity teams and other business units.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting project achievements, risks, and next steps.

  Resource Management:

• Allocate resources effectively to ensure project deliverables are met within budget and timeline constraints.
• Identify and resolve resource gaps or conflicts that could impact project success.

  Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and compliance records.
• Ensure that all cybersecurity projects adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.

  Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within cybersecurity project management.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future projects.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Must Have Skills

• Project Management Experience in Cybersecurity (5+ years): Proven track record of managing and coordinating cybersecurity projects, with a focus on SIEM, NDR, VM, and CTI.
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity Technologies (5+ years): In-depth understanding of SIEM, NDR, VM, and CTI solutions, including their deployment and operational use.
• Stakeholder Management (3+ years): Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including technical teams and senior management.
• Risk Management (3+ years): Experience in identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with cybersecurity projects.
• Documentation and Compliance (3+ years): Proficiency in maintaining project documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Nice to Have (Please indicate no more than 5 skills. If candidates do not have these skills would not be a reason for disqualifying. Be as concrete as possible.)

  Certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) (1+ years): Relevant project management or cybersecurity certifications.

  Experience with Cloud Security (1+ years): Familiarity with cloud-based cybersecurity solutions and best practices.

  Knowledge of Compliance Frameworks (1+ years): Understanding of compliance requirements such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or similar standards.

  Technical Background in Cybersecurity (1+ years): Prior hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, particularly in Exabeam, Darktrace, Incident Response

  Advanced Reporting and Analytics (1+ years): Skills in creating detailed reports and analytics related to cybersecurity project performance.
