Opentext is looking for an energetic, innovative, and experienced senior Solution Consultant to communicate opentext Cybersecurity solutions to drive business growth. The role is the core member of Cybersecurity presales team in Hong Kong. As the primary technical resource for the sales, the Solution Consultant shall be in offering Cybersecurity solutions to customers and is ultimately responsible for all the work of the technical evaluation during the sales cycle.  

 

Responsibility 
Work closely with sales teams, product managers, R&D and support team, and provide technical support and consult to customers.
Identify opportunities via lead generation and customer expectation.
Identify all technical requirements and issues to assure technical win through all stages of the sales cycle.
Applying both business skills and technical to provide an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s business requirements.
Present opentext technical value proposition to customers and partners effectively.
Conduct and ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Identify probable competition and evaluate the advantage of opentext solution.
Responds to RFx requests, taking the lead for the solution and technical elements of the response.
Support the planning and execution of marketing events such as customer forums.
Products training to partners in Cantonese and Chinese.
Develop technical knowledge of opentext and associated technologies.
Complete regular works on time and with quality.

 

Required Qualifications
5+ years’ work experience as a security presales or equivalent customer facing position with IAM, Application Security or Security Operation.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security or related subjects.
Fluency speaking in English, Cantonese and Chinese.
Fluent English and Chinese writing abilities.
Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high-quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences.
Good ability of product verticals (architectural design, technology, implementation).
Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work cross organizationally toward solutions. 
Excellent working knowledge of the principles, competitive landscape in IAM or Application Security and major competitor’s position.
Working knowledge of Cyber security concepts, practical experience with networking, backup, servers, and endpoints.
Good experiences on Linux/Unix and Windows physical and virtualized platforms, databases, and container-based deployment technologies.
Good understanding of Microsoft365, Azure and AWS platforms.
Some experience in software development or DevSecops.
Sense of business solution consulting.
Able to work under pressure and willingness to travel for a short term.
Accept moderate overtime.
Location in Hong Kong.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on skills with Cybersecurity portfolio especially on IAM
Experience with Identity & Access Security, Single Sign on, Identity Governance, Privilege Identity Management, Multi-Factor Authentication, Data Security, Data Governance, Information Governance, Encryption, Cloud Security, SIEM, UEBA.
Familiarity with Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Security, Imperva, Tenable, Thales, Splunk, SolarWinds, RSA, Darktrace, Forcepoint.
Experience with Windows/Active Directory, LDAP Directories, and LDAP Authentication.
Experience with application security (penetration testing / code review).
Experience with integrations of development infrastructure products (source code repositories, build servers, bug tracking tools).
Scripting knowledge (Java, C, C++, .Net, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Security related certifications (CISA, Security+, CEH, CISSP, CCSP).
Familiarity with SaaS solutions.
