It is an exciting time to be joining Carlsberg, with significant investments and change in the Information Security discipline across the Carlsberg Group. As a part of the Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance team, you will work in a truly global and complex organisation.   

 

Who we are

Our objective is to keep Carlsberg protected in a rapidly evolving threat landscape. The team is managing the oversight and coordination of Governance, Risk and Compliance activities with Information Security in the Group. We have the responsibility to design and deliver procedures and controls to assure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as Carlsberg Group Standards. In addition, we are managing information security awareness and training to all Carlsberg employees. 

 

What you’ll be doing 

As a student assistant in the team, you will work with various tasks within the area of governance, communication, change management, and information security awareness. Among others, you will:  

  • Monitor IT security controls, policies, guidelines and maintain technical documentation across the Group  

  • Help facilitate business impact and risk assessments of applications  

  • Support the development of InfoSec Risk Management   

  • Plan and track phishing simulation campaigns through our simulation platform  

  • Help to maintain our security awareness reporting portal  

  • Support various change management and communication activities   

  • Assist in developing and managing data loss prevention (DLP) policies   

 

What we’re looking for 

  • A strong communicator (incl. fluency in English)  

  • A person with a strong interest in technology  

  • A team player who also enjoys working focused and independently on tasks and projects  

  • Naturally full of energy with a high drive and passion for what you do  

  • Structured in your work with a healthy balance between having a broad overview and an ability to dive into details  

  • Preferably a person currently at the last year of a bachelor, or first year of a master’s degree.  

  • A candidate foreseeing a future career with information security is preferable  

  • A person ready to spend 15-20 hours of work per week (typically 2-3 days)

You will be based out of our brand-new Central Office in Copenhagen, but you will be offered great flexibility in the role and can often work from wherever you are.    

 

Carlsberg Integrated Information Technology (IIT)   

The information security team is a part of the IIT function, and we are responsible for securing our information and assets wherever they are. IIT is the global provider of technology services to all business functions, regions, and markets in the Carlsberg Group. This includes solution delivery and operations. We are an organization of approx. 750 people, across the globe and we a have tight collaboration with our local markets in all three regions: Western Europe, Central & Eastern Europe and Asia.
