Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Our Cyber Analytics practice is seeking an experienced and driven Information Systems Security Officer to join our team. Responsibilities: The ISSO will manage information systems security, adhering to FISMA policies and maintaining ATO. You will establish and implement security policies based on industry best practices and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM). The ISSO will monitor systems and conduct vulnerability scans to maintain secure systems. You will also lead security exercises and manage mandatory security training. Coordination with senior management and the customer ISSM and other customer security personnel is necessary to maintain ATO and mission success.

Qualifications, Education, and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a cybersecurity related discipline. Additional work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining POAMs.
• Cybersecurity certification required.
• Experience creating security control assessments and documentation.
• Working knowledge of Tenable Nessus, DISA STIGs, NMAP, and NIST.

Clearance Requirement:  Active TS clearance is required.
