The Security Technology team supports ASML’s 1st and 2nd line Security Risk Management with state-of-the-art detection & protection tooling and enable development and implementation of (new) technologies in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Within Security Technology, the operations team is focused on the operations-, management- and maintenance of the systems and applications to support ASML’s Security function.

Role and responsibilities

As security analyst in Security Technology Operations, you will focus on operations and maintenance of all technology supporting the Security services. You are responsible for performing daily security operations using the technologies and maintaining and improving security tools used by other teams.

Other areas of responsibility are: 

• Troubleshooting and solving issues related to a number of tools 
• Creating a number of different reports (often automated) and provide these to different teams within ASML 
• Being a part of multi-team projects 
• Documenting and reviewing standard operating procedures 
• Identify opportunities for enhancements of operational efficiency (by automation, improvement etc.) and start initiatives geared to implement them 

Education and experience 

You have experience in executing fast-paced, deadline-based, mission-critical activities. You are comfortable in a truly international environment, characterized by many different cultures and languages. You are happy to work alone as well as within a team of like-minded colleagues, sharing the same interests and passion about their jobs. Ideally, you are experienced in working with a large multinational company, and aware of their organizational complexity. And you are comfortable with a job that requires completion instead of a classic 8 to 5 workday.

To summarize, a grasp of your responsibilities:

• At least 3 years of experience with cutting edge technologies like Splunk, Rapid7, Darktrace or similar tools in usage and maintenance.
• Background in IT and/or engineering, ideally in possession of current tool-related certifications and or formal training. Demonstrable top-notch proficiency, in the absence of formal training or certifications, will be considered. 
• Linux, Microsoft server, powershell etc. are considered a relevant plus.
