We are looking for an Information Security Analyst II (NIWC Pacific) in San Diego, California.  


SUMMARY:

Provide professional  information security services assist NIWC Pacific Security Support  Services. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for Security Classification Guide (SCG) Compliance check.
  • Ensure SCG usage compliance
  • Assist with basic information security functions
  • Create security plans for classified meetings and conferences held at SSC Pacific
  • Review all material Unclassified Technical Information & Classified) leaving the center (part of technical review process
  • Collaborate with Project Lead/SME/Branch Head/PM/OPSEC/PAO)
  • Create Marking Desk guide and provide guidance on proper marking review
  • Implement CUI Marking process and safeguarding/protection of center-wide procedures
  • Create training material and provide training, as needed
  • Assist with preparation for inspections (CSI, NATO, IG, etc.)
  • Verify clearances and issues and create tracking log for courier cards
  • Manage all classified copiers in the center

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience
  • Top Secret-Required
  • Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Specialist experience/background
  • Ability to collaborate with all projects/programs throughout the center
  • Knowledge of performing security site visits of secured spaces and laboratories


Preferred:

  • Local to San Diego, CA area
