Safety & Cybersecurity Lead Engineer

 

  

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Planning and Coordination of safety and cybersecurity activities.

  • Monitoring of timing, progress and costs of the safety and cybersecurity related activities within the project.

  • Guide and monitor engineers in safety and cybersecurity activities and workproducts.

  • Performing Threats analysis ad risk assessment, development of safety or cybersecurity concepts, support of safety analyses.

  • Specification of requirements for safety-relevant functionalities.

  • Define cybersecurity specification from higher level of architectural abstraction, allocation of requirements to components and verification of specifications.

  • Facilitating, coordination and attending in assessments, audits, surveys (ISO/PAS 5112) and technical reviews of workproducts.

  • Documentation after process completion and presentation of results.

  • Development of test plans and of vulnerability Analysis & Penetration testing report.

  • Contribution to R&D activities.

  • Contribution in the acquisition process of project proposals, including follow-up projects and/or project extension in safety and cybersecurity.

  • Development of  the technical roadmap within the existing structure and organization.

  • Contribution to the business development of the safety and cybersecurity related topics.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Over 5 years of proven experience.
  • Strong knowledge about safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262).
  • Strong knowledge about Cybersecurity standards (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434; UN REGULATION No.155; ISO WD PAS 5112; ISO 24089).
  • Mastery of safety and cybersecurity of assessments, audits and processes.
  • Ability to manage customer projects from prototype to SOP and turnkey in different domains and applications.
  • Mastery of the work products of the ISO26262 and ISO/SAE 21434.
  • Experience in secure software implementation (secure Boot, SecOC, OTA, Flash Data,Security), secure coding, secure hardware design (HSM, TPM) and hardening of operating systems.
  • Automotive domain specific knowledge (e.g. powertrain, transmission, ADAS).
  • Knowledge about software and electronic hardware.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player.
  • Effective communication skills to manage communication with the different stakeholders of the project.
