Security Architect

About the opportunity

Auckland based, hybrid role - 2 office days & 3 WFH days

• About Plexure: We are a cloud-first global SaaS company. We redefine the customer experience and drive results through personalized mobile marketing and next-generation loyalty programs for household names such as McDonald's. Our cloud platform has over 300 million users in 65+ markets globally!
• What you'll do: play a key role in the development and execution of our Security roadmap encompassing Security Operations, Application Security and Risk Management, whilst providing technical guidance and people leadership to a team of Security Analyst's and Engineer's.
  
• Our tech stack: C#, SentinelOne, Netskope, SonarCloud, Azure, AWS
• Projects: On the short term horizon, you'll support the team in implementing a SIEM solution, build out our incident response playbooks and implement new security tools.
• Influence the way we work! Utilize your security expertise to introduce new practices that enhance our security posture and keep the personal information of over 300 million people safe!
• Foster a positive, supportive and collaborative environment that encourages the team to succeed. Identify opportunities for your team members to learn, provide critical feedback and conduct performance reviews.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in information security operations, ideally within a software company.
• A passion for helping people succeed! You'll enjoy mentoring, coaching and upskilling team members.
• Experience implementing new security practices, standards and tools.
• Strong communication skills. You'll have the ability to break down complex subjects and tailor your delivery to your audience.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as the GDPR would be beneficial.
• A background in penetration testing would be a bonus!
