The Role:

The Information Security Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day Governance, Risk and Compliance activities. He will be reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains Information Security policies and procedures & guidelines;
  • Conducts ICT & Security Risk Assessments to identify discrepancies, provide recommendations and design security controls;
  • Conducts compliance assessments against the applicable Information Security Policy requirements and industry standards (e.g. PCI DSS);
  • Monitor the assessment results and report to upper management;
  • Evaluates organisational and technical security controls in the lifecycle of services, solutions and processes;
  • Maintain and implement the execution of the Information Security Awareness programme;
  • Supports IT audits and information security compliance assessments;
  • Absorbs and promotes the information security strategy of the Group to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets;
  • Remains up to date on emerging threats and evolving security mechanisms and technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of dedicated Information Security experience;
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree required in computer science, information systems or information security related fields;
  • Relevant certifications - (ISC)2 CC, ISACA CRISC/CISM, or equivalent certifications will be considered a strong plus;
  • Financial Services/Banking industry experience will be considered a strong plus;
  • Ability to work with Technical and Non-Technical business owners;
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and always strive for high ethical standards;
  • Proficient written and verbal use of English language (Level C2)
