Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Sr. DEVSECOPS Engineer in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI.  As part of a highly talented, motivated, team, you will support a fast-paced program delivering a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it’s AORs.   ******POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD********** Duties and responsibilities include: As the Senior DevSecOps Engineer you will lead the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible. Manage, support, and maintain a reliable environment for the Product to ensure the stability and security of the environment. Leverage an automated process to mitigate security vulnerabilities in the environment by working with the Security Lead to triage product security vulnerabilities and planning mitigation activities. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Requires 8 + years with BS/BA or 6 t+years with MS/MA or 3 + years with PhD. Additional education may be considered in lieu of higher education.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II certification requirements
• Demonstratable experience using AWS; especially AWS GovCloud
• Demonstratable experience using declarative infrastructure as code development and deployment such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Demonstratable experience using Kubernetes and management of Docker containers
• Demonstratable experience of using GitLab for CICD
• Strong scripting experience with Python
• Experience using REST API’s
• Experience with remote system administration methods (SSH, SSM, WinRM)
• Solid understanding of version control and using Git
• Solid understanding of continuous integration concepts
• Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation
• Experience working in teams using Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
• Solid understanding of and experience implementing and integrating CI/CD Tools from the ground up, such as Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence), Github, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium, SonarQube, Gatling, JMeter, JUnit, AMP, aChecker, Jaws, Netsparker, OWASP ZAP, Tenable Nessus, Splunk, Prometheus, CloudWatch, New Relic, Grafana

• AWS Developer – Associate Certificate
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer- Professional

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
