Identity Governance and Administration Solutions Architect

An Identity Governance and Administration Solutions Architect is a specialized role focused on the governance and administration of identity systems. As an Identity Governance and Administration Solutions Architect, you'll provide advanced technical support, leading the technical delivery of IGA solutions, and ensuring the stability and security of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems. You'll need a deep understanding of IGA access controls and hands-on experience with IGA technologies, including SailPoint, Okta, and Saviynt. Additionally, an IGA SME is expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct system enhancements, and contribute to long-term problem-solving initiatives within the identity management domain.

We are seeking an Identity Governance and Administration Solutions Architect who will be instrumental in developing and managing an IGA solution for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). You'll be responsible for overseeing the integration and secure data exchange between our mission partners and the VA's identity management systems. You will bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in IGA solutions to lead our technical delivery team and bring value to our VA client. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with VA's identity management policies.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with designing and implementing large-scale IGA solutions in complex enterprise environments

  • 8+ years of experience with IAM tools and platforms, such as Okta, Microsoft Identity Manager, Microsoft Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS), Entra ID, Ping Identity, SailPoint, ForgeRock, or CyberyArk Identity

  • 8+ years of experience with Identity Federation where multiple identity stores exist

  • Experience with developing processes for identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, authentication, authorization, and de-provisioning

  • Experience with IAM technologies, such as Active Directory, LDAP, OIDC, OAuth, SAML, and PKI

  • Knowledge of defining and enforcing access control policies, ensuring users have appropriate access based on roles and responsibilities and of Enterprise Directory architectures

  • Ability to oversee identity and access governance operations and architecture design

  • Ability to collaborate with teams proactively to address technology issues with applications, including infrastructure and code

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with working in an agile delivery team

  • Experience with presenting technical briefs to senior leadership

  • Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST 800-63

  • Ability to problem-solve

  • Ability to lead and coach technical staff
    Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS or Software Engineering

  • Industry Certification, including CISSP, CISM, or CISA a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
