Location: Krakow

 

About the role:

 

The purpose of the role is to provide independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness control environment, in accordance with Zurich ICIF Policy, and focus on the company’s Key Controls in the IT. To be responsible for allocated testing for the system components, processes, data and/or information technology environment. Actively participate in the development of IT internal controls throughout the company by ensuring compliance with the Zurich Methodology and requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Be accountable and responsible for the assigned tasks, by managing of testing of IT controls for the entities that have been assigned
  • Testing sensitive and confidential controls
  • Support the Testing Team Manager in any ad-hoc related tasks and projects
  • Complete deliverables in a timely manner as per assigned by the Testing Team Manager
  • Be a point of contact for the IT framework
  • Lead by example
  • Pro-active and customer oriented

 

Candidate’s profile:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT/Computer Science or related field                                                             
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the areas of Information Security, IT controls testing, IT Audit/IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • English C1
  • Spanish, Portuguese and/or Italian B2 is nice to have
  • Experience and knowledge of IT control testing or Audit is an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security standards and principles preferably demonstrated by an entry certification such as Security +, SSCP or CSX (an asset)
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security standards and principles preferably demonstrated by an advanced certification such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA or CISM (an asset)

This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
