Here is where your greatest challenge awaits you: 

As an SOC Analyst Apprentice, you will actively participate in protecting Accor Group's digital infrastructures and our hotels worldwide. You will be involved in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, collaborating with the Vulnerability Operations Center (VOC) and the new Threat Intelligence team. You will help maintain a robust security posture to protect our clients, hotels, employees, and systems against emerging threats.

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Monitor security alerts in real-time using SOC tools (SIEM, EDR, SOAR, etc.) to detect potential threats.
  • Analyze security events and determine the severity of incidents.
  • Participate in incident response by investigating security incidents, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with the new Threat Intelligence team to correlate threats and adapt our defenses accordingly.
  • Contribute to the improvement of SOC playbooks and procedures for a quick and effective response.
  • Participate in the implementation and optimization of processes within the Vulnerability Operation Center (VOC) by working with teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Keep threat indicators (TTPs) up to date and assist in preparing security reports for internal stakeholders and the executive committee.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and propose improvements to enhance the security of information systems.

Qualifications

And you?

You are currently a student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac +3/4/5) in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of information systems security, networks, and protocols.
  • Initial experience or a strong understanding of SOC tools (SIEM, EDR, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Threat Intelligence and cybersecurity threat analysis.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) to automate recurring tasks.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Softkills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with our international colleagues.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn, especially in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Strong autonomy and a self-driven approach to learning.
