This position is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of Information Security systems at the facility. The security analyst assists with the successful installation of PC hardware, software, and peripherals as needed at the Help Desk. 

Requirements

  

Education:

· Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field OR 

Associate Degree and 1 to 3 years related experience in networking and security operations OR 5 years’ related experience. 

· Must already have, or attain within one year of hire date, CEH or security +.  

Experience: 

· Experience with TCP/IP; FTP; Telnet; IP Subnets; Cisco Unified Communications, DHCP; DNS; Windows OS; UNIX; Switch and Shared Ethernet; Gigabit Ethernet; Designing Networks, WANS, and Intranets; Fiber-Optics and CAT 5 and Copper Wiring.

· At least three years’ experience as an Analyst/Tech in a heterogeneous multi-vendor environment

· Prior professional experience supporting IP-based network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and hubs in an Ethernet  environment.

· 1-2 years PC installation, troubleshooting and software installation in a networked environment.

· Strong problem-solving skills and inherent decision-making ability. 

· Project management skills. 

· Strong dedication to deliver quality customer service in a timely manner. Good human relations and oral/written communications   skills in technical and non-technical areas.
