- Bachelor’s Degree preferred and\or 10+ years of experience managing complex network environment using Cisco and Firewall technologies.
- Network tools and automation experience.
- Experience managing complex network environment: LAN, SD-WAN, cloud firewall, on-prem firewall and network access control
- CCNP required, CCIE preferred (or equivalent knowledge\experience)
- PCCET/PCNSA required, PCNSE/PCCSE preferred (or equivalent knowledge\experience)
- Routing: EIGRP, BGP, policy-based routing, quality of service (QoS), DMVPN
- Switching: HSRP, DIA, DHCP Snooping, Spanning-tree security, Port security
- Data Center Networks: including Nexus 2k-9k, vPC, vDC, ACI, etc.
- Network Security: NAC, ACS, ISE, 802.1x, IPSEC VPN, SSL Decryption, Cisco ASA and/or Palo Alto Firewalls
- Subject Matter Expert across Network Engineering
- Assist in budget and resource planning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to work with external parties including vendors and customers
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results
- Flexibility working across multiple systems and contexts
- Work under pressure to meet customer network needs with quality, and in a timely manner and expected to respond after hours.
