Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Classified Cybersecurity is currently seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity - Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to join the team in Huntington Beach, CA.   

The selected candidate with be responsible for driving accountability for Cybersecurity controls within Government Programs under Boeing Defense Systems. The role will include performing both Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) job duties.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Program Engineering and Information Technology teams on cutting edge technology by evaluating and applying relevant concepts to deliver usable products for the U.S. Government

  • Lead the development and deployment of program information security for assigned systems to meet the program and enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures

  • Manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, product development and product maintenance for assigned systems

  • Manage and performs security compliance continuous monitoring

  • Lead and participate in security assessments and audits

  • Prepare, review, and present technical reports and briefings

  • Identify root causes, prioritize threats and recommend/implement corrective action

  • Provide advisory to Program Managers through mentoring and technical leadership to the information security program team

  • Explore the enterprise and industry for the evolving state of industry knowledge and methods regarding information security best practices

  • Develop enterprise-wide information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures that may reach across multiple stakeholder organizations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Limited telecommuting opportunity may be available.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC or CISM)

  • 3+ years of experience as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs

  • 1+ years of experience working within Special Access Programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience

  • 5+ years of experience utilizing security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include: NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, or NIST SP 800 series

  • 5+ years of experience in assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cybersecurity compliance

  • Experience working both independently and in team environments

  • Experience managing multiple projects or cross organizational programs

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $124,100 - $167,900
