Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for an Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join us!

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Work with senior stakeholders to achieve security objectives such as ROI and effectiveness of controls in place
• Lead and hold discussions to coordinate and plan security infrastructure projects
• Lead implementation of enterprise security infrastructures such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Network Intrusion and Prevention System (NIPS), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) System which includes Contractor management, design validation and test acceptance
• Plan and participate in areas of security operations to ensure that processes meet defined information security policies and standards, and evolving security threats
• Lead and manage security assessments of system that include configuration review, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
• Provide security consultancy in area of threat and risk assessment throughout the system lifecycle from implementation to maintenance
• Lead the maintenance on the enterprise security infrastructures that covers service and security posture upkeep
• Lead the development of correlation rules in Security Information Event Management (SIEM) system to detect anomalies or security threats through monitoring
• Establish disaster recovery procedures and conduct breach of security drills

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• At least 10 years of experience in the Security Consultancy or Security Engineering
• Experience in implementing security products such as SIEM, NIPS, EDR System is an advantage
• Team player with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows
• Experience in incident response and forensics an advantage
• Possess any of the following Security Certifications: GCDA, GCED, CISSP, CISM
• Possess the following soft skills and attributes:
• Ability to justify new initiatives and recommend new initiatives to stakeholder(s)
• Conceptualise the Concept of Operations for the new initiatives
• Familiar with tendering process, defining requirements in tender specification
• Team player and able to lead discussions between internal teams (Operations, Security, Contract) and external product principals or system integrator
• Requires minimal supervision from supervisor
• Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to present and communicate effectively with non-technical audience.
• Able to work independently and as a good team player with analytical, management and planning skills
• Dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
