- Act as the "mini CEO" of the AppSec platform
- Establish and drive the platform vision and strategy
- Evangelize the platform’s benefits to potential users, partners, and developers, driving adoption and fostering a vibrant community around the platform
- Work with different business level stakeholders to gather requirements and clearly articulate the your vision, strategy and roadmap
- Bring in the market requirements and prioritize them
- Overseeing the platform’s design and development. You must work closely with the technical team to ensure the platform’s architecture supports scalability, modularity, and security
- Closely work with the technical team to articulate the product and platform requirements in a way that meets customer needs
- Manage new features lifecycle from concept ideation to end-of-life
- Manage and expand the platform ecosystem. work to attract and retain developers and technological partners, facilitating their success on the platform
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the success of the platform
- Know why we are winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create improvement
- Collaborate with other product managers and product marketing on the creation of positioning for your feature-set
- Work collaboratively with engineering, and other functional teams.
- Develop innovative solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise products product management experience
- Experience driving the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
- Experience in leading products in the cyber-security space - advantage
- Experience in working on B2B SaaS products
- Experience and knowledge in modern architecture and cloud technologies.
- Experience in working with modern Agile methodology (e.g. SAFE)
- Experience working with and understanding the needs of customers or internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to be able to interact at all levels and be effective as part of a broader team
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team through influence, and to engage with senior leadership
- Ability to manage expectations and handle high-pressure situations with tight deadlines
- Proven analytical skills decision-making ability based on quantitative and qualitative data
- Travel of about 3-4 weeks each year
