Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager oversees and leads the highly specialized GSOC team to deliver unparalleled security services, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to the highest industry standards. This role requires a strategic vision and a commitment to continuous improvement, focusing on quality assurance, client relationship management, strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and team leadership.

Job responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless 24/7 operations focused on threat detection, risk assessment, and incident response, maintaining the highest level of readiness.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring all communications are professional and addressing any concerns promptly to ensure resolution is satisfactory.
  • Oversee the quality of work performed by the team, conducting regular audits and providing feedback to enhance performance. Continuously evaluate and improve GSOC processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and enforce stringent security protocols and develop comprehensive crisis management plans.
  • Assist in conducting & coordinating OSINT, research requests, and event/risk assessments to increase the client’s awareness on threats & safety concerns.
  • Provide detailed reports to senior management and clients with insights, metrics, and recommendations to enhance security measures. Ensure effective communication channels are maintained.
  • Process timesheets and monthly expense reports.
  • Manage the 24/7 coverage of the GSOC.
  • Any other related tasks.

Job requirements:

  • Experience in Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Critical Incident Management or Corporate Security
  • Must be well-versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologies.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations
  • Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Successful client management experience
  • Bilingualism (English and French), strongly preferred
  • Must be a competent user of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
