Key Responsibilities:
- Lead software and ETL processing teams, providing guidance, direction, and support to achieve project goals.
- Manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Understand and manage cybersecurity risks associated with software development and data processing.
- Ensure the iPost system and related infrastructure comply with security guidelines, including Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) processes.
- Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the iPost system, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with software developers to create and maintain client-server applications that support the system’s needs.
- Manage data ETL processes, ensuring accurate and timely ingestion and processing of sensor data.
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to provide insights and optimize data workflows, and assist sharing data.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for various State Department customers, managing expectations and ensuring their needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to software, data processing, and system infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for problem-solving, risk mitigation, and system optimization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in managing software development and ETL processing teams.
- 10+ years experience required
- Experience with cybersecurity risk management, particularly in maintaining systems compliant with security guidelines.
- Hands-on experience in software development and creating client-server applications.
- Familiarity with data ETL processes and experience in managing data workflows.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing team dynamics and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in data analytics and understanding statistical methods is preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, data management, or project management are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DHS CDM product solutions and their integration into large-scale systems.
- Experience in maintaining A&A compliance for infrastructure security.

Target Salary Range
