As our organization and department continue to  flourish, we’re on the lookout for a DevSecOps Engineer to join one of the pillars of our security community of practice. DevSecOps are empowering our fellow engineers in rapid, frequent and secure deployment of tools by applying principles like Infrastructure as Code or intensive custom scripting. 

DevSecOps Engineers represent an internal security development role within Infobip ensuring that robust security measures are woven into the very fabric of our applications and infrastructure from inception to deployment and beyond. 

 

What you would be doing at Infobip: 

  • Innovating DevSecOps Solutions: Collaborate with fellow engineers to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge DevSecOps solutions that meet our infrastructure and security needs. Always challenge the status quo to enhance our security posture. 
  • Automating Security Controls: Utilize your expertise in scripting, compiled programming languages, and Infrastructure as Code tools to automate the provisioning of security controls, ensuring seamless and secure operations.
  • Tackling Complex Challenges: Independently solve intricate security automation tasks or epics, demonstrating your problem-solving prowess and technical acumen.
  • Crafting Custom Security Tools: Develop and code bespoke internal security tools to streamline the deployment of security measures, enhancing our overall security framework.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues within the DevSecOps domain, whether prompted by fellow Bippers or identified through system alerts and observations.
  • Educating and Empowering: Participate in the security education of non-security engineers, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.
  • Supporting Automation Efforts: Assist other security engineers in automating their tools, driving efficiency and innovation within our security operations. 

More about you: 

  • Educational Background: You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, laying a solid foundation for your technical expertise.
  • DevSecOps Expertise: You bring proven experience in DevSecOps, with a knack for taking ownership and autonomously executing the tasks outlined above.
  • Technical Proficiency: Your comprehensive technical skill set spans a variety of technologies, including but not limited to GNU/Linux, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Security Savvy: You are well-versed in information security frameworks and best practices, ensuring robust and secure operations.
  • DevOps Automation Knowledge: You have hands-on experience with DevOps automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, and Terraform, driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Communication Skills: Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to convey complex technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders effectively.
  • Language Proficiency: You possess full professional fluency in English, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
