Role Overview: Our Group Internal Audit team offers independent assurance to the Executive Management by evaluating the effectiveness of governance, control structures related to IT Risk Management, IT operational methodologies, and Cyber Security resilience. We assess and report on processes, data, and systems across various groups, ensuring effective communication at all organizational levels.

Your New Team: Located in Central Copenhagen and Vilnius, Lithuania, our IT Audit team comprises ten committed professionals. We conduct thorough technology audits across the group. For candidates with the right skills and qualifications, other locations in our Group Internal Audit offices may be considered.

What You Will Do: You will join a team auditing the group's IT platforms, infrastructure, and applications. Your role will involve scrutinizing IT security and architectural technologies, and assessing the IT control environment and IT governance within Danske Bank.

Depending on your experience, you may be offered a different seniority of the role.

You will:

  • Conduct audits related to general IT controls, cyber security, and technical infrastructure in collaboration with colleagues
  • Engage in diverse tasks connected to the group’s central IT platforms and its subsidiaries
  • Identify risks and evaluate the design and operations of IT and Cyber Security measures, including the development of the group’s applications
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in IT, cyber security, operations, and risk reporting
  • Participate in audit status meetings with management and collaborate effectively across different tech and security areas

About you:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT audit, IT operation, or IT security, which has provided you with extensive knowledge of the interactions between components of IT infrastructure and systems, as well as daily IT operations
  • You possess knowledge of emerging trends, including assessing IT threats and risks, along with risk mitigation strategies
  • Perhaps you are already an IT auditor (internal or external), or you hold a degree in computer science or a related field, supplemented with relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, CISM, or CISA
  • Experience in IT audit is beneficial but not a requirement
  • Good writing skills and an ability to present your conclusions with logical references to arguments and document findings in a respectful, transparent, and convincing manner
  • Advanced English language skills

We offer:

This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania. If the position is located in Lithuania, the salary range will be from 4000 EUR to 6000 EUR gross monthly.
