Application Systems Analyst/Tester

Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Systems Analyst/Tester to join our dynamic team. As an Application Systems Analyst/Tester, you will be responsible for analyzing, testing, and ensuring the quality of software applications within our organization.
Location:  Fort Knox centric (REMOTE)Required Clearance: TS with SCI EligibilityRequired Education: Master’s Degree in relevant fieldRequired Experience: Ten (10) years of experience as a Application Systems Analyst/Tester
Responsibilities:·        Have extensive IT experience in the analysis, design, and integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and development software. ·        Must be well versed in understanding structured analysis and design methodologies for the translation of systems requirements from business needs with a proven track record.  ·        Must be able to evaluate cost factors and risk.·        Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and analyze software requirements.·        Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.·        Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, security, and usability of software applications.·        Several years of experience in application systems analysis and testing.Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best Requirements·        Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.·        Identify and report software defects, track issues, and work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.·        Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.·        Conduct performance testing to assess and optimize the performance of applications.·        Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of project requirements.·        Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and test results.·        Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.·        Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.·        Strong communication and collaboration skills.·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in technology, Computer Science, or a related field, CISSP, CISM Certifications:  ·        Security+
