Job Description

As Z Energy evolves its digital transformation, and becomes increasingly reliant on digital applications, data engineering products and modern enterprise solutions to drive operations, customer interactions, and innovation, we are pleased to welcome a Kaitātari Tāhaumaru Mātāmua Senior Security Analyst into our Information Security team.

Working alongside our wider Security team, and in collaboration with service providers and stakeholders in Z, you will be an Internal Security Consultant within a major information security uplift, serving as a Security expert in various capacities.

You will have the opportunity to;

  • Provide internal security consulting to various internal partners and stakeholders – understanding & explaining security concepts, translating security to risk for non-technical colleagues
  • Drive out Security Culture by influencing others through security awareness & training
  • Work with Security Operations to manage security partners, triaging security events and vulnerabilities
  • GRC responsibilities including managing audits and compliance/assurance activities, keeping risk registers updated and assisting in governance activities

Qualifications

What you’ll bring to Z

  • Experience in planning, implementing and upgrading security measures for the protection of IT networks & information
  • Broad knowledge in Technology Security & Governance, Risk & Compliance initiatives, with commercial experience either within Security Consulting, or within a large Enterprise organisation
  • Ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, colleagues and vendors, with great communication capabilities

The base salary range for this role is $96,900 to $114,000 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
