Summary of This Role

The Threat Intelligence Manager is a member of the Threat Operations team. The role's overall responsibility is to lead a group of Intelligence analysts in the proactive identification and research of advanced cyber threats targeting the organization. This role requires tactical security skills as well as the strategic ability to build, enhance, and mature a program.

What Part Will You Play?

• Assign, assist, and mentor the team in the execution of various research assignments

• Perform threat analysis using commercial and OSINT tools, such as Recorded Future, Anomali, Dataminr, Tor browser, Inoreader

• Identify cutting edge methods of identifying new threats applicable to the organization

• Generate highly professional documentation on threat research, and review/edit/enhance the deliverables of all team members, ensuring a first class product is delivered to appropriate audiences

• Develop automation to improve the efficiency of threat intelligence lifecycle workflows

• Continue to build and mature the program 

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and outside the box thinking; bring innovative ideas to the table and execute on them

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Information Science or a related technical field preferred or 10+ years of experience working in information security or information technology roles

• 5+ years experience in a Threat Intelligence role

• 2+ years in a team leadership or management role

• Demonstrated ability to interact with business and technical audiences across all levels of an organization

• Strong time management skills and experience handling multiple initiatives with competing priorities

• Strong analytical and technical skills

• Experience working in a service-oriented information security or information technology group preferred

• Security knowledge across multiple security domains and technologies (e.g., operating systems, databases, networking, applications, identity and access management)  Strong knowledge of and experience working in Windows and Linux environments a plus

• Possession of industry certifications highly preferred including, but not limited to, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (GCTI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Global Payments, payment or technology industry experience is preferred.
