Your Opportunity
As a Security Data Analyst working within our Security Investigations Team within the Cyber Security Operations (CSO) Department, you will play a crucial role by:
- Data Loss Prevention Strategy Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain data loss prevention technologies and solutions. Develop and refine DLP policies and procedures based on organizational needs and industry best practices.
- Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor data flow and usage to identify potential security threats or breaches. Analyse DLP alerts and incidents to determine the root cause and impact. Generate and review reports on data protection incidents and trends.
- Manage the operation of data collection and analysis systems in support of threat detection activities
- Develop operational and visual dashboards relating to data and asset movement
- Providing information & intelligence the Security Investigation Team to support their delivery of strategic advice to the business

Your Experience

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data protection, IT security, intelligence analysis or a related role, with hands-on experience in DLP technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based DLP solutions and policies, and familiarity with data encryption methods and secure data handling practices will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of threat tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Proficiency in security monitoring tools and data analysis (e.g Microsoft Purview, eDiscovery, Office 365 Administration, Power BI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex data and identify trends.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
