Job Title: Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

Location: Anacostia, MD

What you’ll be doing:

• Information system security engineering is a process that captures and refines information security requirements and ensures that the requirements are effectively integrated into information systems through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration.

• The ISSE is an integral part of the development team designing and developing organizational information systems or upgrading legacy systems.

•  The ISSE employs best practices when implementing security requirements within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques.

• The ISSE shall be appointed in writing by their respective chain of command or corporate equivalent. ISSE responsibilities should not be assigned as collateral duties.

• The ISSE must retain a copy of their appointment letter.

Things you must have to apply:

• TS/SCI w/CI Poly

• This individual must possess DoD 8140.03 IASAE-Level II or higher Certification

• 5 years' experience in UAM event analysis or a related field (e.g. Computer Network Defense, Insider Threat, or Cybersecurity}

• Previous experience with Insider Threat tools, and complete UAM training N LT 45 days from performance work start
