We are seeking an Information Security & Systems Analyst to join our growing IT team. This role will assist in disaster recovery preparedness, monitor systems for performance and security issues, install and maintain security software tools, patch, and maintain systems. To do well in this role you will need to be a team player, provide excellent customer service, and get stuff done. 


 Information Security Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Champion company-wide best practices for IT security. 
  • Work with IT team to perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities, fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
  • Develops security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs, and on-going communication.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
  • Proactive, research security enhancements and make recommendations

Information System Analyst Responsibilities

  • Safeguard systems by performing regular backups and assist with disaster preparedness.
  • Research, develop, and implement IT solutions based on company’s IT vision.
  • Increase system and business efficiency through workflows and other automation tasks.
  • Maintain and enhance system monitoring and management processes.
  • End user support 
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or related field, or a combination of schooling, certifications, and on the job experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in information technology.
  • Understanding of firewalls, Azure Sentinel, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
  • Experience working with AWS is a plus
