We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Security Engineer to join our team as a Manager in the Security Engineering function. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our digital assets and infrastructure.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our security technologies operate efficiently and that our security posture is continuously enhanced. This role is based in Gurugram (India)

Responsibilities

•   Ensure efficient operation of security technologies.

•   Enhance security posture through optimized solutions.

•    Perform Detection Engineering and fine-tuning of security systems.

•   Maintain and improve existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), driving process improvements and automation opportunities.

•  Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between IT and stakeholders.

•  Lead proof of concepts (POC) for new security tools and technologies.

Your profile

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills. You should be adept at managing multiple stakeholders and driving security projects to successful completion. Your ability to work effectively in a team and handle complex security challenges will be key to your success in this role.

Must Have:

•  5-10 years of IT experience, with 3-5 years in a security engineering role.

•   Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

•  Experience in Detection Engineering within SIEM and SOAR environments. Exposure to Chronicle SecOps is an advantage.

•  Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and vulnerability management practices.

•   Understanding of network security systems and measures.

•   Solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
