THE OPPORTUNITY
Want to learn more about the automation side of things in the supply chain & E-Commerce fulfillment domains?
You will here. Through on the job training from experienced Systems Engineers and Systems Trainers, you’ll upgrade your skills to the point you're supporting enterprise automation systems and preventing critical issues.
You’ll also learn more about material handling systems and robotic technologies found in modern day warehouses.
Want to spend more time researching, testing and improving system security?
You will here, supported by diverse engineering teams, you’ll have more time to focus on improving security and stability of Dematic’s in-house systems.

What will you be doing?
You’ll partner with teams bringing connected, real-time systems to market.
Through a mixture of hands on, technical leadership, and account management, your day to day will be reviewing and reporting on new security bulletins, testing newly released updates in a lab environment, installing approved updates on our systems remotely and updating our knowledge base (Confluence) and ticketing system (JIRA).
Secondary duties include assisting with preventative maintenance activities, and creation of customer reports.
Your goal will be ensuring the company's systems are secure and stable and connected to 3rd party automation & robotic systems, so our client’s operations are running reliably, and on time.
ABOUT YOU
Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in Windows security, Antivirus, or disaster recovery,
You’ll have support from the Systems teams and have the chance to learn how to excel in these areas.
For now, Windows Updates deployment experience in a business environment will be enough.
Your work will be technically diverse across Windows Operating Systems environments, Antivirus solutions and security auditing products.
You’ll be supported by a sizeable Support team and other Engineering groups within the company.
You will work as part of a team when assigned to projects, and work autonomously on individual assignments.
