Boeing Enterprise Security (BES) organization is looking for Experienced Security Design Specialist  to be part of our BIETC team. This position will support both the BES Vulnerability management team. Join our organization and leverage your knowledge in System Integration and Cyber Security to provide guidance and support to our business.

Key activities may require collaborating with Global teams and working with Information Security teams to ensure our services meet the business requirements. This role is part of strategic initiative to build a robust team in India and it would be providing exposure to work across Boeing Enterprise Security team collaborating globally.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India. 

Position Responsibilities:

•    Experience in planning and delivering projects across organizational units.
•    Convert functional requirements to CLEAR specific technical requirements.
•    Candidate must have a strong understanding of Application concepts, vulnerability remediation techniques and object oriented design & programming using Java.
•    Deep expertise and hands on experience with Java APIs such as JPA and open-source libraries such as Hibernate, Lombok, and Thymeleaf.
•    Research and propose software programs that are compatible to the future technologies.
•    Preparation of technical documentation.
•    Fix bugs, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
•    Assume ownership of code throughout development, staging, testing and production.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal skills & ability to work with multiple personality types.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•    Knowledge of, and practical experience with, Application Security concepts and vulnerability remediation techniques. 
•    Object-oriented design and programming using Java
•    Experience with Java APIs such as JPA and open-source libraries such as Hibernate, Lombok, and Thymeleaf
•    In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring
•    Experience in micro-service architecture, design, and implementation
•    Database experience with Oracle RDMS including SQL and PL/SQL
•    Developing software in an enterprise environment
•    Experience with developer tools such as Git, TFS, Eclipse, TOAD
•    Experience with calling/writing REST web services
•    Strong Windows/Linux experience
•    Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
•    Must be able to work collaboratively with multi-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :

•    First-time quality focus and quality process optimization
•    Experience with Information Security best practices
•    Experience with NIST 800-171 and CMMC regulatory compliance, especially with regard to related processes (e.g., System Security Plans, Plans of Action, etc.)
•    Knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD and supporting tools such as Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory, TFS, Git
•    Experience in cloud-based deployments such as Tanzu Application Services

Typical Education & Experience:

•    Typically, 8 to 12 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
