Cyber Security Analyst Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security Analyst Intern to join our team for a 4-6 week internship. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and training in cyber security, threat analysis, risk management and get the selected candidates ready for the market with the relevant expertise in their respective fields. 

Responsibilities: 

- Assist in monitoring and analysing security event logs and network traffic 

- Learn to identify and respond to cyber threats and incidents 

- Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts 

- Assist in developing and implementing cyber security policies and procedures 

- Learn to collaborate with team members to understand security needs and develop solutions 

- Participate in security awareness training and education efforts 

Requirements

- Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field 

- No prior experience necessary - we're looking for eagerness to learn! 

- Basic understanding of cyber security principles and concepts 

- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, HIPAA) 

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
