Your day to day:

Actively participates in software and hardware solutions development projects for customers of Internet of Things services in the Vodafone portfolio.
Follows the transition of software and hardware solutions from the development environment to the operational environment through a validation, testing and implementation process, being responsible for screening and testing the IoT organization's security for vulnerabilities.
Responsible to coordinate security patching in a timely manner, identify improvements and regularly develops automation scripts.
Ensures all the processes are compliant from security perspective and gather evidence for it.
Implements changes and maintenance works on the software solutions used by the client, writes documentation for implementing and changing the current configuration/code and implements according to the procedures.
For some of the services provided, modifies and adapts the software solutions for a better performance and experience offered to the customers.

  • Coordinates all the security patching cycles, identifies improvements and develops, modifies or adapts software solutions for automating it.
  • Keeps track of penetration testing and identifies security vulnerabilities of IoT systems.
  • Reviews the vulnerabilities of IoT systems identified from the tools and addresses them within the required SLAs.
  • Gathers evidence of security compliance for UAM process and supports audits in IoT Operations
  • Reviews the technical and functional specifications of information systems and to implement them in the process of modifying or adapting hardware and software solutions.
  • Performs security impact analysis, proposes, develops, and implements technical solutions related to the basic functionality of the software, with the final result of solving security incidents and advanced technical problems and thus improving the customer experience.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Rich knowledge and experience (at expert level) in IT, more specifically, application support, Linux server administration, SQL database administration and advanced knowledge about SOAP and REST APIs, Microservices, SOA, Apache web servers, Windows servers, noSQL DB
  • Rich knowledge and experience of Security tools (Arbor, Qualys , Imperva, IDPS, WAF)
  • Work experience in The Cyber Security Assessment
  • Experience in the security operations center (SOC) to monitor, prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats around the clock.
  • Work experience with SOAP and REST APIs, Microservices, SOA, Apache web servers, etc.
  • Programming / scripting knowledge in any of the following languages: (Bash, Perl, Python, Java, C / C ++)
  • Experience in solving advanced problems, detailed analysis and implementation of solutions
  • Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
  • Experience working with public cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
