Are you ready to become a pivotal member of Spotter's world-class cloud engineering team? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Administrator with a deep understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure & services and Google Workspace. You will be responsible for the administration of our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. What You’ll Do

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, manage AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, subnets, routing tables, network ACL, and Route 53 DNS zones.
  • Desktop and mobile device system administration.
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain robust security measures, such as IAM policies, DNS administration, firewall rules, and encryption protocols.
  • Cybersecurity Establish controls necessary to comply with company policies, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Google Workspace Expertise: Provide expert-level support for Google Workspace applications and services, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and more.
  • Email and Endpoint Security: Oversee email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint) and endpoint security tools (e.g., Crowdstrike) to protect our systems from threats.
  • Asset Management: Ensure proper oversight of IT assets, including hardware, software, and cloud resources.
  • SaaS Subscription Efficiency: Manage SaaS subscriptions to optimize costs and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and improve efficiency.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration, with a strong focus on Google Workspace, AWS, and Azure as part of a Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform
  • Experience deploying and supporting scalable systems based in one of the following Cloud platforms: Amazon AWS, Google GCP, Microsoft Azure
  • Expertise with Linux
  • Experience extending and supporting Cloud based monitoring tools such as AWS Cloud Watch, Datadog, LogicMonitor, Nagios, Splunk
  • Experience managing remote workforce computing devices based on established Cybersecurity and Data Protection best practices
  • Experienced in deploying EC2, S3, Redshift. Bonus points if you have experience with DynamoDB, Aurora, RDS, Elasticsearch or AWS OpenSearch, Cassandra, EMR

Valued Skills

  • One or more of the following: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Certified Security Specialist, Azure Administrator, Cisco CyberOps, CCNP,  CCNA, CISSP, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, engineering, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong English communications skills – written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $180K-$250K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
