General Information:
 

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Service Delivery Lead to lead our dedicated team responsible for managing service requests, maintaining cybersecurity tooling, and ensuring timely incident resolution. As the lead, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing processes, meeting SLAs, and enhancing our overall security posture.


Your Responsibilities:

Service Request Management:

  • Queue Management: Oversee the incoming service requests submitted through ServiceNow. Ensure efficient triage, assignment, and resolution.
  • Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize requests based on business impact and urgency.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure timely and effective responses to user inquiries and incidents.

Cybersecurity Tooling Maintenance and Monitoring:

  • Tool Lifecycle Management: Lead the team in maintaining and updating cybersecurity tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, asset detection solutions, endpoint protection).
  • Health Checks: Regularly assess the health and performance of security tools. Address any issues promptly.
  • Integration and Automation: Collaborate with Cyber Resilience and other IT teams to integrate security tools and automate routine tasks.

Infrastructure Monitoring and Backups:

  • Scope Definition: Collaborate with Cyber Resilience team to define the infrastructure in scope for monitoring, patching and backups (e.g., servers, network devices, databases).
  • Backup Strategy: Maintain backups for data protection and disaster recovery of Cybersecurity owned infrastructure.
  • Regular Patching of Operating Systems and Applications for Cybersecurity Operations Infrastructure
  • Work with Cyber Resilience team on cost management of Cloud resources

SLA Management:

  • Service-Level Agreements (SLAs): Create, review, and manage SLAs for service requests, and tool maintenance.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor team performance against SLAs. Identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, business units, and external vendors to align service delivery with organizational goals.
  • Effective Communication: Keep stakeholders informed about service status, incidents, and changes. Provide reporting & updates to senior management.
  • Reporting & Staffing: Work with Cybersecurity Operations Support to define reporting metrics & create dashboards. Review workload and create business case for additional staff where required.


Your Background:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in IT or Cybersecurity Operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • ServiceNow Proficiency: Strong understanding of ServiceNow workflows, reporting & dashboarding, incident management, and request fulfillment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, infrastructure components, and monitoring practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and guide a team toward operational excellence.
  • Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, CISSP, or related certifications.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
