Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week at our Ottawa, ON office located at 40 Hines Rd, Ottawa, ON K2K 2M5, Canada.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced  Software Developer to work on Trend Vision One™ Platform (https://www.trendmicro.com/en_us/business/products/one-platform.html). You will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting high-quality  solutions for Attack Surface RIsk Management on the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a featured service owner, work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain robust and scalable  solutions on  Trend Vision One™ Platform Data Lakes  for Attack Surface Risk Management across AWS/Azure and GCP.

• Collaborate with other engineers on data platform  for   data transform tuning ,  algorithm adjustment,, API stability and performance enhancements.

• Participate in on-call rotations to support and debug customer-reported issues as well as internally created service incidents.

• Take time for learning and continuous improvement, with opportunities to learn and teach skills across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering  or related fields AND 2+ years experience in cloud native backend solution development  OR equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, Python and Go.

• Good experience with large-scale, resilient microservice and event-driven architectures, REST API.

• Good Experience with DevSecOps including automated CI/CD pipelines ,  infra as code, security enforcement and production observability.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Continuous learning mindset, with a passion for keeping up with industry trends and technologies.

• Customer oriented and proactive in helping customers solve their security needs quickly and completely.
