Zero Trust Solution SME

Avint LLC is looking for a talented and driven Zero Trust Solution SME to join our team! We seek a proactive individual with expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity, and information technology. Candidates located in the DMV will be prioritized.

*A Secret Clearance is required for this position.*

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Zero Trust security architecture, aligning with best practices and regulations.

• Design comprehensive security solutions covering identity, network, application, and data protection.
• Offer expert guidance on Zero Trust trends and best practices.
• Implement Zero Trust principles organization-wide.
• Integrate IAM, MFA, micro-segmentation, and endpoint security solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams for smooth solution integration.
• Evaluate, select, and manage Zero Trust tools, including IAM (e.g., Okta, Azure AD), MFA (e.g., Duo), network security (e.g., Zscaler), and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike).
• Develop and enforce Zero Trust-aligned security policies.
• Perform regular audits and security assessments.
• Create architectural diagrams and SOP documentation.
• Work with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed security.
• Lead security projects focused on identity, access management, and segmentation.
• Provide training on Zero Trust principles.
• Stay current with security trends and threats.
• Regularly assess risks and refine the Zero Trust architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 5 Years of experience in network architecture, cybersecurity and information technology.
• Demonstrated experience implementing cybersecurity solutions, network architecture, and Zero Trust principles.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
