The Cybersecurity Computer System Engineers (CCSE) are responsible for the IT Lifecycle Management of KDAM ATARS information systems and networks. 


Essential Functions of the Position: 

  • Serve as Domain/Network Administrator which includes maintaining hardware/software applications, troubleshooting, network device configuration and verification, Windows/LINUX administration, Active Directory, and other Windows Server support systems. 
  • Plan, test, harden, mitigate, and maintain the information systems that support the Cybersecurity/Information Assurance related duties, Risk Management Framework (RMF), AF Assessment and Authorization, corporate directives, computer security incidents, and other government contractual security commitments. 
  • Identify automated computer hardware, networking support and software requirements.
  • Install new or updated releases of various software. 
  • Tailor systems to meet RMF/Certification and Accreditation Program requirements.
  • Maintain system updates released. 
  • Other duties as assigned.    

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited school/college.
  • Must possess a Government Security Clearance.
  • Must possess 8570 certifications: Security+ certification. Proof of certification required.
  • Two years’ experience administering Microsoft Windows-based computers.
  • LAN administration experience.
  • Experience with Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), or similar
