Cyber Security Analyst

Key Role:

Processes and analyzes cyber threat intelligence data, and compiles standard and ad-hoc reports as needed. Leverages expertise of cyber data and information, analyzes and identifies data requirements, uses specialized tools and services, and develops intelligence products. Applies basic principles, theories, concepts, and limited industry knowledge. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with cybersecurity principles

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems

• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Additional Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of embedded systems concepts 

• Ability to leverage expertise in technical writing and presentations  

• Ability to review software source code against secure coding standards 

• Ability to analyze documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and interface control documents (ICD), for potential security vulnerabilities 

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
