We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cloud Security Analyst to join our growing team. As a Cloud Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the integrity of our systems. You will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, and remediating security risks. Your expertise in Cloud Security Posture Management(CSPM) and vulnerability management will be instrumental in maintaining a robust security posture across our cloud environments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage cloud security solutions, including CSPM tools, to continuously monitor and assess the security posture of our cloud infrastructure.

  • Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments to identify security weaknesses and misconfigurations in cloud environments.

  • Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on their severity and potential impact on the organization.

  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective remediation processes.

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and promote secure coding practices.

  • Stay abreast of emerging cloud security threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

  • Provide security guidance and recommendations to cloud architects and engineers.

  • Contribute to incident response activities and conduct thorough investigations of security breaches.

  • Prepare and deliver security reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on CSPM and vulnerability management.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools, such as CSPM platforms, vulnerability scanners and management tools, and cloud configuration management tools.

  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, network security, data encryption, and compliance requirements.
    Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies and remediation techniques.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Additional Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and Cloud Security benchmarks.

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices.
