Step into the Group Privacy and Compliance Manager position at Probe CX, an industry-leading customer experience and digital transformation provider with over 19,000 employees across five countries and multiple brands. 

About the Role

The Group Privacy and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the compliance framework across Probe CX in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. The role involves designing, implementing and continuously reviewing and improving compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and industry standards. The Probe CX Group Privacy and Compliance Manager will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of integrity and ethical conduct. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Compliance Strategy and Advisory : Develop, implement, and manage a compliance program aligned with regulatory requirements. Assess company operations to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Update policies, procedures, and guidelines in response to regulatory changes, while keeping employees informed and promoting a compliance-focused culture. Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, assessments, and corrective actions.

Auditing : Regularly audit Probe CX compliance procedures and operational practices to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements. Coordinate audits on privacy, debt collection, and other guidelines to assess potential risks and non-compliance. Develop and manage action plans based on audit results and support operations during client compliance and governance audits.

Incident Response and Reporting : Monitor and manage compliance incident reports, leading investigations and ensuring appropriate corrective actions. Implement preventative measures to mitigate future risks, and conduct privacy assessments for reported incidents in consultation with the Group General Counsel.

Licensing : Assist with license renewals, including debt collection licenses, and notify regulatory bodies of any relevant changes. Liaise with external regulating bodies for license renewals and memberships as needed.

Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks in Probe CX  business activities, regularly reviewing control measures. Report risks to the Group General Counsel and relevant stakeholders.

ESG : Support Probe CX's ESG strategy, focusing on data governance and compliance. Complete relevant client ESG questionnaires as needed.

About You 

You are an experienced compliance professional specialising in privacy regulations. You excel at identifying risks, implementing solutions, and managing compliance programs. Known for your strong communication skills, you can explain complex concepts clearly and work collaboratively across teams. You’re a natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, meeting deadlines while upholding high ethical standards.

Skills and Experience Required: 

  • Minimum of three years' experience in a compliance role with a focus on privacy compliance

  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and implement effective solutions

  • In-depth knowledge of local, state, and national laws, standards, and codes, including privacy regulations

  • Ability to analyse incident reports, identify trends, and produce stakeholder reports

  • Strong leadership skills to drive compliance initiatives and ensure timely execution

  • Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders

  • Commitment to ethical standards and high levels of integrity

  • Excellent communication skills to explain compliance concepts to diverse audiences

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Solid understanding of legal requirements, including Privacy and Australian Consumer Law

  • Australian Citizenship
