Energy Systems Engineer

The Opportunity:

What if you could use your engineering skills to unlock the energy system monitoring and measurement for new energy technologies and project types for the military, the largest utility consumer? Our team supports critical mission facilities to enhance mission resiliency through ever more-connected energy systems. The team focuses on leveraging expertise in electrical, communications, water, and gas infrastructure to provide reliable and insightful metering capabilities for our clients.

As an energy engineer, you understand how facilities are supported by electrical, gas, and water infrastructure by interacting with the models and drawings for these systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to ensuring proper data collection and transmission from measurement hardware to key stakeholders.  In order achieve climate and decarbonization goals, our clients want to enhance the way they consume energy, and it starts with baselining consumption. We are looking for a senior energy engineer who can combine their expertise in designing and configuring current transformers (CT), meters, associated communications, and human machine interfaces (HMI); advocating for programmatic metering processes and best practices; and ability to lead a team of engineers and facilitate interaction between clients and partners. You will also be a technical mentor to junior colleagues as they interface with utility metering hardware including data integrity and network protocols analysis. You will be leading technical efforts across the entire system lifecycle from planning, design, construction, commissioning, and sustainment. You will directly impact the energy sector by leading a team that will pair advanced metering technology with a diverse portfolio of facility energy and business systems across the United States. This is a chance to use your technical skills while gaining experience with energy consulting as we advocate for critical missions and loads in the evolving infrastructure landscape. Join us and take on exciting challenges as we transform the way our clients and supporting utility and energy companies see energy.

Join us. The world can't wait.
