Responsibilities

• Support the Observability tool by maintaining and troubleshooting dashboards and creating new dashboards to meet operational requirements as needed
• Create Grafana dashboards using PromQL (Prometheus query language)
• Identify any issues or bottlenecks to mitigate appropriately (e.g., feed issues, syntax changes, etc.)
• Produce high quality documentation, schematics and presentation materials as needed
• Provide individual leadership in the realm of troubleshooting major incidents and problem management
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues and outages
• Adhere to Citi's Corporate, Information Security and other functional standards and controls
• Collaborate with Citi security developers on internally developed tools for telemetry gathering and data visualization efforts

Qualifications

• 6+ years' hands-on Network Security experience with Firewalls, ACL’s, intrusion detection, proxies, vulnerability scanning, DNS, DDoS mitigation, SIEM platforms, etc.
• Strong proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana
• Scripting experienced required (Python highly preferred)
• Prior networking experience with routing/switching, LAN, WAN, etc. inclusive of modern network virtualization concepts to a professional level proficiency is preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields or equivalent experience
• One or more of the following certifications are preferred: Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto firewalls, CISSP or CCNA/CCNP

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
