MBL Technologies is hiring an experienced Senior Program Analyst to join our team in support of a federal agency.  As a Senior Program Analyst, you will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical support to cybersecurity programs, coordinating activities, analyzing program performance, and ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity objectives. The individual will also be responsible for data security, analyzing, implementing, and overseeing the data security measures. This is a key role in supporting program management efforts and enhancing the effectiveness of the federal agency's cybersecurity strategy. 


This role is contingent upon award of contract.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of cybersecurity programs and projects. 
  • Analyze and evaluate data security needs and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and recommend strategies to enhance data protection and security measures. 
  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of data security solutions and tools. 
  • Monitor and manage data security systems to ensure effective operation and compliance with security policies. 
  • Ensure program objectives are met within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Analyze program data and metrics to assess program performance and identify areas for improvement.  
  • Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders. 
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to program success, developing and maintaining risk management plans.
  • Ensure program activities align with federal regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., FISMA, NIST).  
  • Support audits and compliance assessments related to cybersecurity programs.
  • Recommend process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity programs.  
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cyber security programs.
  •  Perform other official administrative tasks as assigned in support of the federal agency.  


Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program analysis, program management, or a related field, with a focus on cyber security and information technology in support of a federal agency.
  • Strong understanding of federal cyber security framework and policies (e.g. NIST & FISMA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills.
  • Proficient in program management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira) and data analysis software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Possess and maintain a cybersecurity-focused certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CSM, or PMP)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills.
  • Prior experience working with Veterans Affairs preferred.
