About the team 

 

 

The Security Team at Swiss Re is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of security across the organization. This encompasses a broad range of activities including cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk, and compliance. We are at the forefront of developing and implementing the company's security strategy. Within this dynamic environment, the Access Compliance Ops team plays a crucial role by offering expert access management services, establishing robust access management processes in line with compliance requirements, and managing access life cycle processes for all users. We're looking for an experienced and driven professional to jump into the role of IT Security Governance Specialist to enhance our processes and services through expert analysis, ensuring adherence to our security standards. 

 

 

As a IT Security Governance Specialist, your main responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Improving Compliance Processes: Work on enhancing our Identity and Access Management processes, ensuring they align with IT General Controls (ITGCs) and other relevant standards 
  • Data and Process Evaluation: Assess the accuracy of our data and evaluate key processes to ensure they are reliable and effective 
  • Managing User Access: Conduct user access reviews to maintain high security standards 
  • Engaging with Stakeholders: Handle requests, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication across different teams 
  • Quickly Adapting and Contributing: Understand our systems and processes quickly and start contributing significantly from the beginning 
  • Promoting Learning and Collaboration: Foster a culture of learning and collaboration within our diverse team 
  • Culture and Learning: Foster a culture of learning, development, and collaboration within our diverse workforce 

 

 

Your qualifications 

 

We understand that nobody meets 100% of the requirements. If you have a strong foundation in the following areas and a passion for enhancing cybersecurity processes, we’d love to meet you! 

 

 

Essential Skills: 

  • Understanding of IT fundamentals, application systems, and databases 
  • Familiarity with IT Governance (policies, standards, IT General Controls), particularly in Identity and Access Management 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and drive improvements 

 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with audit or compliance 
  • Security certification from ISACA, ISC2 or similar 
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Power Platforms/Automate 
  • Previous experience with IAM and ITSM systems such as ServiceNow, Azure AD, SailPoint, Okta, or CyberArk 

 

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 1,400] and [EUR 2,400] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

In the situation where you significantly exceed the requirements, the offered salary may be above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
