Security Line Manager CS&S

ASML is the largest supplier in the world of photolithography systems for the semiconductor industry and manufactures machines for the production of integrated circuits. It heavily relies on information to do so, and as such, protecting confidential information is of great importance and requires continuous improvement.

Within ASML the 3-Line of Responsibility Model is applied. With security capabilities organized centrally (2nd line) and security risk management embedded within each of the sectors (1st line). For the sector Customer Solutions and Support (CS&S), covering our Sales and Customer Support organization, we are looking for a Security Line Manager to enable our security experts to further strengthen our ability to cover information security.

Job Mission   

You are an excellent people manager with knowledge of information security and ability to connect to (senior) stakeholders. Within the CS&S Security & Risk Management group you will be responsible for embedding information security by covering security inquires and your ability to inspire people to embrace security in their day to day activities. A big part of this is driving the adoption of the CS&S security program and ensure ASML wide security priorities are covered. Central to your role as line manager is your insight into different skill sets, development areas and motivational factors towards each professional that is in your team.

Job Description

As a Line Manager in our department, you will have three core responsibilities

Building and shaping your team based on our vision, strategy and CS&S Security & Risk roadmap. Developing your team members and overall team capabilities come naturally for you. Actively support and facilitate our security program: driving the adoption and execution of ASML security priorities in the sector. Also securing operational excellence and continuous improvement for our security domains in alignment with the key principles of ASML (challenge, collaborate, care). Collaborate and communicate with the broader teams within ASML as well as with our (external) customer if needed. You are well equipped to navigate your way through a complex stakeholder environment and are well adapted in building up relationships throughout the different layers in an organization.

Education

Within ASML, Line Managers are servant leaders who are confident in building, developing and guiding high performing teams in a complex environment. You feel at ease in an agile environment where you will be prompted with ever changing dynamics. Your drive to build relationships gives you an edge in managing the different stakeholders within ASML. As a strategic thinker you are well able to develop tactical plans and roadmaps for both the broader CS&S organization as well as making the overall strategy tangible in operational activities for your team. Ideally you bring the following background into this role:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in (information security) risk management;
• Experience with coordinating (information security) projects in cooperation with the business;
• Experience in managing a team of professionals in an international company;

• Master degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;

• Information security risk management qualifications like CISSP, CISA, CRISC or CISM.

Context of the position

As Security Line Manager you are part of the Security & Risk Management CS&S department and will report to the Sector Security Risk Manager.

You will be based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. You will be a member of the ASML Security community; working closely together with the security risk management teams in other sectors and the 2nd line security competence teams.
