Your mission

We are currently seeking an experienced Security Engineer. Our tech stack includes OpenStack, AWS, Kubernetes, Node.js, C/C++, Go, and Postgres. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and methodologies, and will have a proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions. As a Security Engineer and SOC Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our blockchain infrastructure in the cloud and on-prem as well as our customers’ valuable assets from cyber threats.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for our organization's networks, systems, and applications
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses
  • Monitor security systems and devices for signs of intrusion or anomalous activity
  • Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends
  • Collaborate with other IT and security personnel to ensure the overall security of our organization

What you need to be successful:

  • Demonstrated experience in Computer Science and Information Security
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and methodologies
  • Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
  • Experience in monitoring security systems and devices
  • Experience in responding to security incidents
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Experience with SIEM and/or SOAR tools
  • Certifications, such as CISSP or AWS are a plus
  • Experience with AWS and cloud security technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control, preferably in Gitlab
  • Experience deploying and managing SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible
