Neo Group is on the lookout for a Head of Information Security to join our Engineering Function.

What We Want From You:

Information Security Strategy and Policy Development:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy to protect IT systems, data, and infrastructure.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and evolving threats.
• Continuously update security measures in response to changing security landscapes and emerging technologies.

Ensuring Secure Systems and Access Controls:

• Ensure employee devices and systems have up-to-date security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and anti-virus software as necessary.
• Implement robust access management policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access controls.

Risk Management and Vulnerability Assessments:

• Collaborate with department heads to review workflows and identify potential security issues and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability checks to identify and address security gaps in IT systems.

Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

• Manage the setup and operation of security monitoring systems for timely detection and response to incidents.
• Coordinate the investigation and remediation of security breaches, and continually improve the incident response plan.

Cybersecurity Literacy and Employee Training:

• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs to educate employees on their roles in maintaining information security.
• Provide targeted security training to teams handling critical and sensitive information.

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure security practices comply with internal policies and industry standards, and provide regular updates on security risks and initiatives.
• Report on the organization’s security posture, risks, and compliance to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency.

Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the information security team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve the organisation’s security objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in IT security roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience with conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Proficient in developing and leading cybersecurity training programs for employees at all levels.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in both English and Russian, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
